Electoral Campaign Coach and Advisor (part-time, flexible, remote) at Social Movement Technologies

Do you have deep experience and interest in bold progressive down ballot campaigns? Primary campaigns?

Most immediately, SMT is adding to its electoral team in preparation for launching its work with campaigns. We are looking for a small number of seasoned campaign operatives with deep narrative, messaging, data, tech stack and ad campaign experience to be part of the team on a part-time contract flexible basis.

Social Movement Technologies’ mission is to provide organizing strategy, training and campaign support to build progressive power and win in the digital age. We're a non-profit movement support group, driven 100% to meet movement needs.

SMT has trained staff from over 2400 groups and unions over its first six years, and worked with 70+ groups on campaigns more in-depth.

SMT is now playing a lead role in offering the in-depth digital campaign training that organizers, communications, fundraising and director-level staff need in the digital age. Our goal is to expand access by driving down the cost of this training and providing excellent online learning experiences to dramatically deepen digital organizing proficiency on the Left. Our focus is on using digital campaigning to amplify in-person action, broaden support, activate supporters, and pressure targets. Our bias is towards meeting the needs of small to medium-size groups and campaigns.
